A109S PILOT GROUND COURSE (THEORETICAL PART ONLY)

Prerequisites: The Applicant pilot must have:
Course Objectives: To provide qualified helicopter pilots with the theoretical knowledge and practical skill required to operate the A109S model and all its systems throughout the full flight envelope and to respond safely to emergency situations and malfunctions
Course Duration: 1 week
Course Ground Instructional Hours: 30 hours
Flight Training: N/A
Course Content: The Ground Training (Classroom) includes a comprehensive coverage of the Rotorcraft Flight Manual. Training will hold and emphasis on aircraft systems (Hydraulics, Electrical, and standard avionics) their description, applicability and operation. In-depth theoretical explanation of aircraft operating characteristics, limitations and performance data and charts.
Training Sequence:
Prerequisites: The Applicant pilot must have:
- Good knowledge of the English language. Both written and spokenù
- A valid and current medical certificate or equivalent certificate issued by a regulatory agency
- A valid Pilot Certificate or equivalent certificate issued by a regulatory agency
