AW139 PROFICIENCY CHECK VFR / IFR (YEARLY)

Course Approval: Factory Approved

Prerequisites: The Applicant pilot must have:
  • Good knowledge of the English language. Both written and spoken
  • A valid and current medical certificate or equivalent certificate issued by a regulatory agency.
  • A valid Pilot Certificate Rotorcraft/Helicopter or equivalent certificate issued by a regulatory agency
  • Current Type Rating on AW139 Helicopter
Course Objectives: The objective of this course is to allow qualified pilots to revalidate their currency on the AW139 model

Course Duration: 1 day (approximately)

Course Ground Instructional Hours: N/A

Flight Training: Includes:
  • 2 hour of familiarization on the simulator (strongly suggested)
  • 2 hour check on the simulator (VFR / IFR)
Course Content: The activities for VFR/IFR proficiency checks include 2 Hours of familiarization Training on the simulator (not mandatory but strongly suggested) followed by the actual check with the FAA Authorised Training Center Evaluator (TCE)
