Course Structure

Courses are designed to meet specific customer training needs and are structured to enable students to gain knowledge and achieve the required standards, without having to leave the workplace. On registering, the user receives a starter kit containing the following items: 

  • Software installation
  • USB hardware protection key
  • Operator manual

After the completing an easy-to-use set-up wizard in the start-up procedure, the user is requested to enter bio-data and, once registered, can start the course.
 
The course has a pre-determined duration and includes scheduled intermediate exercise sessions where an experienced tutor monitors the progress of each student and the knowledge level attained. The student is continuously tested throughout the course to identify and resolve any problems that could slow the learning process. The following additional resources are also available:  

  • Personal teaching support available by e-mail, phone, web-conference.
  • Personal tutoring support available by e-mail, phone, web-conference.
  • Group teaching sessions in a virtual classroom (collective teaching via web-conference).
  • Access to a forum dedicated to the course subject.

Distance Learning Basic course gives the theoretical preparation in order to attend the AML.
After each module the trainees have to take an exam in any Part 147 examination centre certified for basic course.They will receive a certificate after getting through the test successfully.
AgustaWestland 'A Marchetti' Training Academy is a centre, authorized by ENAC, to run examinations.
