The AgustaWestland USA Training Academy is located In Philadelphia, PA and delivers high quality, integrated helicopter simulation and training solutions for pilots and maintenance professionals. The Academy supports flight and maintenance training, offering customers initial, conversion and recurrent training, along with a comprehensive curriculum for pilots, flight engineers and maintenance technicians.

The AgustaWestland USA Training Academy provides training on-site as well as off-site to maintenance and flight personnel for the family of commercial AgustaWestland helicopters.
Following successful completion of the appropriate course, students are issued with an AgustaWestland Certificate of Training. The AgustaWestland USA Training Academy is also qualified to issue EASA maintenance training certificates for the AW109 and to issue Transport of Canada accepted maintenance training certificates.
All students are provided with specific training handouts for their retention and student notebooks are specifically designed to increase the student’s level of comprehension and knowledge retention. All course instruction and publications are provided in English.
AgustaWestland USA training personnel are highly qualified and experienced in the specialised field of helicopter aeronautics and our Training Academy offers the highest standard of training required for the most modern helicopters in the market.
Ground courses are conducted using traditional classroom training methods. Simulator and flight training consists of briefing/debriefings, instructor demonstrations and student practice for flying skills and procedures. The flight training will be conducted at AgustaWestland USA Training Academy in Philadelphia, PA, with Level-D full flight simulator training at Rotorsim in Morristown, New Jersey.
