Training and Development
AgustaWestland pays particular attention to strengthen and to finalise employees’ capabilities in order to promote their development in outstanding performances.
New employees follow different induction paths depending on their job and qualification. Technical and managerial training programmes are build and planned in response to professional targets and seniority providing opportunities for growth that will accompany each person along his entire professional career path.
A two years’ development path, consisting in a continuous development and assessment programme, is designed for graduated employees, monitoring their capabilities and providing personalised improvement plans in terms of training activities and professional growth (career rewards and remuneration),.
At the same time a specific induction programme is finalised to give them a deeper knowledge of Finmeccanica World and of the AgustaWestland organizational structure,sharing the company principles and values and the main operative mechanisms with particular reference to the functional area of final induction.
The most important training course for just graduated employees is “CROSS SKILL- YOUNG TALENT LAB”, which aims to develop functional skills and to spread the acquisition of the main processes of the Company.
