This appointment further expands the range of distributorship agreements AgustaWestland has in place across the world, allowing an even more effective exploitation of opportunities offered by this specific commercial market segment, particularly for the sale of pre-owned VIP/corporate and private helicopters.

This helicopter will be operated in Kawagawa prefecture. The order brings to three the number of GrandNew helicopters ordered by the Japan National Police Agency as part of their plan to modernise its fleet.

This latest delivery increases the number of AW139s in the Republic of Korean market to eight with other aircraft being operated by Korea Coast Guard, Samsung, Gangwon Fire Fighting Department and Gyeonggi Fire Fighting Department.

The agreement includes an initial firm contract for four helicopters.
