- Turnkey training solutions comprising integrated suites of training systems

AgustaWestland training solutions and industryfunded training services are:
- Designed to provide a highly capable continuous training capability at customer defined locations
- Available ready to support equipment introduction to service as required
- Supported by a wide range of commercial options
AgustaWestland has successfully applied its skills and capabilities to a wide range of training projects aimed at providing complete training packages and associated services.
This includes the design and delivery of the training systems and services required to introduce UK BOWMAN communication system into service. The Company is also actively addressing other Military Systems training programmes, including battlefield digitization.
Through our relationship with CAE of Canada we have extended the capability and range of our helicopter training services. Specifically:
- EH101 flight simulator training is available in the UK and Italy
- A simulation training capability for the Agusta A109 is to be located in Italy and will operate under the ROTORSIM name
- Training for the NH90 is actively being pursued
In addition an AW139 training centre is to be established with the Bell Agusta Aircraft Corporation (BAAC).
The key benefits of AgustaWestland’s through life training solutions are:
- AgustaWestland designs and produces its own training devices, and provides significant technical input and management control to partner organisations and contractors. This reduces programme risk and ensures the end product meets our Customers’ requirements.
- Company Subject Matter Experts from the training and engineering disciplines provide input to the design and provide acceptance of the end product with the Customer.
- As a training prime contractor, AgustaWestland ensures training equipment conforms to the aircraft or system configuration at the Ready For Training date and throughout the life of the programme.
